RECORD REVENUE

Auckland Harbour Board PROFIT FOR YEAR LIKELY PA AUCKLAND, Oct. 16. With revenue and cash receipts for the financial year ended on September 31 at the record figure of £913.491, it is likely that the Auckland Harbour Board will show a profit on the year’s working. Substantial deficits have occurred for many years, that for 1948-49 being a record of £124,615. This-year’s increase in revenue is attributed to the over-all increase of 26.49 per cent, in the board’s charges imposed six months ago and to additions to the board’s mobile cargohandling equipment.
