"Wager,” Outram.—A correspondent informs us that the height of the mainmast of the Pamir from keel to truck is 210 feet and the height from deck to truck is 180 feet. The following information is also kindly supplied:—Length 310 feet, breadth 46 feet, total spread of canvas 45,000 feet. In the mainsail alone there are 2,000,000 hand stitches. The trip from Wellington to London averaged seven knots.
