Sydney Wool Sales
Rec. 11.20 p.m. SYDNEY, Oct. 11. A New South Wales record price of 203 d per lb was paid for six bales of greasy merino fleece at the Sydney wool sale today. The offering totalled 14,828 bales, of which 14,747 were sold. Competition was keen and widespread, with the Continent predominating. The market was firmer, an improved tone prevailing.
