Arrangements For Dunedin Reception

Members of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, who will hold a conference in Wellington from November 24 to December 7. will visit Dunedin before the conference begins. The contingent comprises seven members, who will arrive in Dunedin on the afternoon of November 16 and will leave for the north on November 19. The party will be given a civic welcome in the City Council Chambers on November 17. This will be followed by morning tea in the mayoral reception rooms. The Victoria League has been asked to arrange an outing for the party on November 18, which is election day in Dunedin. After the conference, this section of the visiting party will tour the North Island. Those who will come to Dunedin are Mr W. S. Morrison, M.C., K.C. (United Kingdom), Mr T. Steele, M.P. (United Kingdom). Colonel A. Gomme-Duncan, M.C. (United Kingdom), Major G. Thomson, D. 5.0.. M.A. (Northern Ireland). Lieutenantcommander J. L. Quine, R.N. (Isle of Man), Mr G. H. Adams, M.H.A.
