WOMEN’S MATCHES

Otago Ladies’ Club.—A Sealed-holes Match was played on the Otago links on Tuesday. Trophies given by Mrs Nisbet were won by Mrs Anderson in the A Grade Mrs Haberfield in the B Grade. Belleknowes Ladies’ Club.—Best scores returned in a Medal Match played yesterday were:—A Grade: Mrs McCausland 79—12—67, Mrs North 85—18—67, Mrs S Murray 80—11—69. B Grade: Mrs Thomson 96—33—63, Mrs Phillipps 84—20—64. Mrs Israel 91—22—69. The Medal Match played by the business women’s section on Saturday was won by Miss M. Murray. Chisholm Park Ladles’ Club.—On Tuesday the mid-week section of the Chisholm Park Ladies' Club played an extra day Medal Round and the scores were: — Mrs E. Keen 99—35—64, Mrs W. Herbert 90—24—66, Mrs Morris 104—36—68, Mrs J. Colquhoun 89—21—68, Mrs G, Brooks 97_26— 1 71, Mrs F. C. Hay 91—20—71, Mrs G. W. Hayes 84—12—72, Mrs Armstrong 109—36—73, Mrs D. K. Knowles 94—21—73, Mrs A. L. Williams 100—27—73. Mrs Keen reduced her handicap six strokes, Mrs Herbert four strokes, Mrs Colquhoun two strokes, and Mrs Morris two strokes.
