The Works Committee will recommend that the request by the Waitaki Hospital Board for the use for vegetable growing of the presenf unused roadway adjacent to the north-muH side of the hospital be referred to the Chairman and engineer for investigation. The Reserves Committee will recommend that the applications for allocation of practice grounds for summer sports be referred to the North Otago Sports Bodies' Association, and that the sports clubs desiring the use of playing areas he invited to make application to the municipal office on or before October 17. any temporary arrangement to be left with the chairman.
