SMALL DOUBLES DIVIDEND PA WANGANUI, Oct. 8. The Wanganui Trotting Club’s meeting was opened on Saturday in ideal spring weather before a good attendance. The track provided good going. The totalisator turnover was £25,316, including £1995 10s on the double, compared with £22,850 10s last year—an increase of £2471 10s. Of £2199 10s doubles tickets on Gold Key, the winner of the Wanganui Handicap, 661 were reinvested on Bold Indian, who won the Victory Handicap, and the doubles dividend was £5 for £l.
