Scattered Rain This Morning The official weather forecast, issued by the Government Meteorologist in Wellington, is:— Situation.—A ridge of high pressure covers the North Island and a cold front is approaching the South Island from the west. Forecast tc Midnight.—Moderate to fresh north to north-west winds; weather mainly cloudy, with some brief scattered .rain this morning; temperatures moderate to mild. Weather in Dunedin.—There was a total of lOhr 18min of sunshine recorded in the city yesterday. The wind was from the north-east. The maximum temperature was 58.2 degrees, and the minimum was 50.2 degrees. The barometer reading at midnight was 30.05 inches.
