Miss Zoe Hudson (Christchurch) won the Wellington provincial women's golf championship yesterday afternoon, defeating Mrs H. A. Murray (Miramar) in the final, 4 and 3. Miss Hudson , is the present New Zealand champion.

Nominations for the Oamaru Trotting Club's meeting on Labour Day are due on Monday. J. Fraser, jun., who was disqualified by the New Zealand Trotting Association for seven years from July 5, 1945, has had the remainder of his disqualification lifted by the executive of the New Zealand Trotting Conference.
