Kaitangata Co-op Dairy, Co. Special to the Daily Times KAITANGATA. Oct. 6. A decision to increase the capital from £2500 to £4OOO was approved at the annual meeting of shareholders of the Kaitangata Co-operative Dairv Company. Ltd., on Thursday night. The increase will be effected by creating 1500 additional ordinary shares of £1 each. In moving the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet, the chairman of directors, Mr C Morrison, said that the pay-out of 2s 6fd per lb butter-fat was below that of other factories, mainly because of interest charges and increased rates coming after extensive alterations to the factory The supply of milk continued to increase, he said, the total cheese equivalent of all milk received having been 356 tons—an increase of 36 tons compared with the previous season After discussion the report and balancesheet were adopted. Three nominations for two vacancies on the directorate were received and af'er a ballot Messrs J. Marshall and A. Budge were elected.
