Balclutha There was a good yarding in all classes at the Balclutha sale, held yesterday. An attractive line of store cattle met with an excellent sale. There was a good demand for ewes and lambs in the wool, but shorn ewes and wethers were not much sought after. Quotations:— Fat Cattle (3).—Extra prime cow, £2B 10s; prime cow, £24 15s; light cow,'£l6 MsStore Cattle (53).—G00d two-year-old bullocks £l6 5s to £lB 15s; 18-month steers, £l4 7s 6d; 18-month heifers, £ls 2s 6d. Fat Sheep (176).—Extra prime woolly ewes, 72s 6d to 77s 6d; medium woolly ewes. 695; tight woollv ewes, 465; extra prime shorn ewes, 28s 6d; prime shorn ewes, 32s 6d; maiden shorn ewes, 46s 6d; extra prime shorn wethers. 54s to 55s 6d; prime shorn wethers, 51s to 52s 6d. Store Sheep (200).—Good-conditioned, well-woolled full-mouth ewes and lambs, 45s 6d to 45s 9d: shorn wether hoggets. 465.
