Woman’s Death In Hospital

A verdict that the deceased died from cerebral haemorrhage was returned by Mr J. D. Willis, S.M., sitting as coroner, in the adjourned inquest yesterday afternoon into the circumstances surrounding the death of Hilda Christie Robinson, aged 69, of Sunbury street, Anderson’s Bay, who died in the Dunedin Hospital on September 14 last.

Evidence was given by Dr Robert Finlay Allan, who stated that he had been called to the home of the deceased on September 13, when he found her lying on tho bedroom floor. There were abrasions on her forehead.

Dr E. F. D’Ath, professor of pathology at the Otago Medical School, gave evidence of a post-mortem examination. . The inquiry was conducted by Sergeant W. Kilpatrick.
