Honour For Dunedin Girl The first Queen’s Guide in New Zealand is Marjorie Aitken, a member of the Roslyn Guide Company, Dunedin. Queen’s Guide is a new award, equivalent to the title of King’s Scout. It is given only after difficult tests have been passed which show the guide to have initiative, resourcefulness and reliability. The Guide must be a First Class Guide and be under 16. Marjorie is the daughter of Dr R. S. Aitken and Mrs Aitken.
