Figures For September
Though one fewer building permit was issued by the city engineer’s department last month compared with September of last year, the value of the work was more than double, being £82,188, as against £35,861. The month’s permits, numbering 122, were for 21 new dwellings, valued at £44,124, 74 alterations and additions to dwellings (£9586),.and 27 alterations and additions to buildings (£28,478).
