Stock Exchange Activity DEVELOPMENT LOAN PARCEL SOLD The Woohvorth issues appeared to make a peak on the morning call of the Stock Exchange yesterday, when buyers offered up to 28s for the shares of the Sydney company and 28s 6d for the New Zealand chain. Seilers were attracted in the afternoon when buyers’ offers were 6d lower in each case. Mount Morgan made a peak also at 23s 6d in the morning, when 100 shares were sold, but a deal was reported at 23s 3d in the later session, with buyers still seeking at that figure, A good line of £2OOO of the recent National Devlopanent Loan (1950) was sold on 'Change at £99 12s 6d, whereas its issue price was £99 10s, although interest accrued must be taken into account in making a comparison. Turnover was the highest of the week, and a great deal more variety was represented in the sales list. After reported business at 225, Mount Lyells were sold at 21s 9d and closed with buyers and sellers astride that price at 21s 6d and 225.
