Salaries Payable
The scheme provides for salaries for Totalisator Agency Board members and employees as follows:—
Chairman: £4OO. Members (6): £3OO. General manager: £2500-£3OOO. Secretary: £1250-£2OOO. Chief accountant: £1250-£2OOO. Managers and such other officers as may be required for district or branch offices will be appointed by the board and the board will determine _ the conditions of service, including salaries. The staff will include both permanent and casual employees. There will be provision for them to be employed on an hourly or daily basis as the circumstantes require.
