SALARIES FOR MEMBERS OF STEEL BOARD

Rec. 11.20 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 20. The salaries for members of the Steel Board were revealed for the first time today by the Minister of Supply, Mr George Strauss, in a written reply in the House of Commons. The chairman of the board will receive £7500 a year and whole-time members £SOOO a year. Part-time members will receive £SOO a year. Mr Strauss also revealed that the members of the board would be given contracts of service, There are five full-time and two part-time members of the board.
