WOMEN’S SOFTBALL
The annual meeting of the Kiwi Women’s Softball Club \«as held recently, when the following officers were elected: Patrons —Mrs M. Meikle Messrs E. Vernor, G. Allan, W. J. Taylor and H. S. Strachan- president, Miss J. McLeod; vice-presidents—Mr W. Patton, Misses P. Dwyer and R. Phillips: secretary and treasurer, Miss P. Campbell; committee— Misses I. Maynard and V. McLeod: club captain, Miss J. McLeod; coach, Mr W. Patton; selectors. Miss J. McLeod and Mr W. Patton; delegates to association — Misses P. Campbell and R. Phillips and Mrs Allington. , , The opening practice was arranged tor Saturday at Orana Park.
