Four houses built for the families at Tepapapa will be ready for occupation by the end of November. Each member of the family will work at the mill, and it is hoped that output will rise after they begin in January The company has decided that bringing families is better than bringing single tradesmen. Only skilled workers who cannot be found in New Zealand will be brought.
