Appointments Announced PA WELLINGTON, Sept. 18. The following appointments for the North-South Rugby match at Auckland next Saturday were announced at today’s meeting of the executive of the New Zealand Rugby Union:— North Island: Captain, J. B. Smith, vice-captain, P. J. Crowley; manager, Mr T C. Morrison. South Island: Captain, W. A. Meates; vice-captain, H. W. Wilson; manager, Mr L. A. Clode. The King’s Cup, won by the New Zealand Army team at the end of World War I and presented to the New Zealand Rugby Union for disposal, was allocated to the annual services Rugby tournament.
