Canterbury Centenary DUNEDIN’S CONGRATULATIONS The official centennial celebrations of the province of Canterbury will begin next week, and the Dunedin City Council carried a congratulatory resolution last night. . ‘ ; The resolution, which was moved, by the Mayor, Sir Donald Cameron, was: —“The Dunedin’ City Council offers to the city of. Christchurch and the province of Canterbury its sincere congratulations on attaining their centenary, and wishes the celebrations every success.” A copy of the resolution is to be sent to the Mayor of Christchurch, Sir Ernest Andrews, and the Christchurch City CounciL
