PUBLIC NOTICES JJAWEA RABBIT BOARD. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE AND LEVY A RATE FOR THE YEAR ENDING MARCH 31, 1951. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is the intention of the Hawea Rabbit Board, at its next Meeting, to be held on AUGUST 17, 1950, to make and Levy Differential Rates under the authority of Sections 65 to 68 of “ The Rabbit Nuisances Act, 1928,” and also under “The Rating Act. 1925.” Such Rate to be levied as set out hereunder upon all Rateable Property of the Hawea Rabbit Board Districts as appearing in the Valuation Roll of the said Districts for the time being in force, and to commence on APRIL 1, 1950, and to end on MARCH 31. 1951, and to be payable to the Secretary, Wanaka (P.O. Box 6) in ONE SUM on AUGUST 31, 1950. PUBLIC NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that an Additional Charge of Ten Per Centum (10 per cent.) will be added to all Rates Unpaid at the expiration of Six Months and Fourteen Days from the Demand thereof. The s-aid Rate is to be made and levied upon all Rateable Property as classified in the Schedule accompanying the Valuation Roll in the following manner:— Upon all Land Classified “A” in the Schedule, lid per acre. Upon all Land Classified "B ” in the Schedule, ljd per acre Upon all the Land Classified ”C ” in the Schedule, 3d per acre. Upon all Land Classified “D ” in the Schedule, 5d per acre.
