Prime Minister’s Reply

PA AUCKLAND, July 20. The Prime Minister, Mr Holland, and the Minister of Mines, Mr Sullivan, spoke to the Mayor of Auckland by telephone tonight from Waipukurau. “The present dispute at Huntly has arisen due to the refusal of the men to obey the rules,” said Mr Holland "There are facilities available to settle the dispute, and as soon as the men take advantage of these facilities, the present serious impasse will be overcome.”
