AMATEUR CYCLING The Oamaru Amateur Cycling Club will hold a race on Saturday afternoon over the same course as its 25-mile championship—from Maynard and Armstrong’s factory to Alta Vady and return. The race will be run as in the championship event, with a massed start and a sealed handicap. Riders taking part are A. Taylor, G. Frith, R. Divers, G. Divers. R. Kaye, K. J. Fraser. K. Johnston, E. Cooper, R. Horton, F. Gibson and K. Gibson. RUGBY To provide for those senior town players who are not playing in the representative match on Saturday, a game has been arranged between a Combined Town Clubs’ team and Tokarahi, at Tokarahi. Maheno.—Third Grade: King, Cummings, McCone, Muldrew (3), Kinninmont, Beck, Johnston, Hayden, Youart. Smith (2), Childes, Roberts, Gibson, Emmerson, Dalgety.
