VISIT TO DOMINION
Archbishop Of Canterbury PA WELLINGTON, July 15. The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Geoffrey Fisher, will visit New Zealand towards the end of this year, accompanied by his wife. The Bishop of Wellington, the Rt. Rev. R. H. Owen, announced this at the final session of the Wellington Diocesan Synod. The archbishop will arrive at Auckland from Australia and is expected in Wellington on December 7. The main purpose of the visit is to attend the celebration of Canterbury’s centenary, which falls on December 16.
