“Alcoholics Anonymous ” Movement PRESBYTERY OF DUNEDIN Members of “Alcoholics Anonymous " will be invited to address the August meeting of the Presbytery of Dunedin. This was decided at this month’s meeting, which was held last night, after the convener of the Temperance Committee, the Rev. J. W. Olliver, had made his report. The committee had already been addressed by two members of the organisation, Mr Olliver said, and was so impressed that it'considered a full meeting of presbytery should hear them. , It was decided to extend an invitation to those concerned. “The committee also considered the matter of temperance lodges,” the convener said, “but it has no recommendations to make, as previous failures indicate that there is no desire for such movements.”
