Showers Oh Coast The official weather forecast issued.by the Government Meteorologist in Wellington is:— Situation.—A ridge of high pressure is moving from the west over Northern New Zealand. There is a depression far to the south. •Forecast to Midnight,—Fresh southwest winds and coastal showers about South Otago and Otago Peninsula., Elsewhere fair. Temperatures cold. . Further Outlook.—Fair. Weather in Dunedin.—The Weather ■jn Dunedin during the week-end was cool. No rain fell. On Saturday th^re'were 4 hours 48 minutes of sunshine, the maximum temperature being 47.6 degre s and the minimum 27. There was a keen wind from the west.. The sun shone yesterday for 3 hours ‘l2 minutes. The maximum temperature was 49.3 degrees end the minimum 29. The barometer remained fairly steady, and at midnight the read* ing was 29.81 inches.
