ARRIVAL DELAYED

New Crew For Wye Valley Due to a delay in the arrival at Sydney of the aircraft from Calcutta bringing the new crew for the vessel Wye Valley, which is at Dunedin, the crew did not arrive here last night as expected. They should arrive either tonight or tomorrow and the Wye Valley will then sail for Nauru. The crew which brought the ship to Dunedin left Dunedin on Thursday by air on the first stage of their journey back to Pakistan. They will connect at Sydney with the plane bringing the new crew out from Calcutta. A Press Association message from Auckland says that the flying boat due to leave there on Saturday night for Sydney with the seamen being repatriated was delayed by storm. It finally took off at 1 a.m. yesterday.
