STRUCK BY CAR

Special to the Dally Times NEW PLYMOUTH, May 31. An elderly man, John Robert Jillett, of New Plymouth, received head Injuries when he was struck by a motor car at New Plymouth tonight. He was admitted to hospital and had not regained consciousness at a late hour tonight. The extent of his injuries was not fully known. Mr Jillett is a widower with an adult family, consisting of two sons, Mr Leslie Jillett (editor of the Evening Star), and Mr Douglas Jillett (headmaster of the Te Karaka District High School, near Gisborne).
