NZPA Special Correspondent LONDON, Rec. 7.30 p.m. May 31. Six short films produced by the New Zealand National Film Unit have been purchased by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer for general distribution in Britain. The first of the films deals with the resettlement of European displaced persons in New Zealand, the second with life and conditions in Western Samoa, the third with a visit of a supply ship to the Kermadecs and other small islands off the New Zealand coast, the fourth with an expedition to fiordland to report on the growth of Wapiti herds, the fifth with mountaineering on Mount Aspiring, and the sixth with the tourist attractions of Rotorua.
