LONDON WOOL SALES
The Bank of New Zealand Produce Department has received the following cable advice from its London office under the date May 11: Wool sales continue, and there is an active demand by all branches of the trade. Prices for merinos are par to 5 per cent, higher, and prices for crossbreds are 2J per cent, to 5 per cent, higher. Longer slipe halfbred lambs are fully 5 per cent, over first week of current sales.
