FREEZING WORKER’S DEATH

PA CHRISTCHURCH, Apl. 5. Richard Power, aged 65, of Bath street, Christchurch, was killed almost instantly when he was struck by a rake of trucks while he was crossing a railway line at the Canterbury Frozen Meat Company’s freezing works at Belfast early this morning. • Power, who was employed as a labourer in the felmongery department at the works, walked on crutches. He had worked there for about 20 years.
