AMERICAN SERVICEMEN
Fine Ambassadors For Dominion GOOD TOURIST PUBLICITY PA WELLINGTON, Apl. 4. The United States marines, soldiers and sailors who visited New Zealand during the war are wonderful ambassadors for the Dominion, according to Mr E. H. Green, passenger ihanager at San Francisco for the Union Steam Ship Company. Mr Green, accompanied by his wife, arrived on the Monowai today on a holiday visit. “ I have not yet met a man who was down here during the war who is not very enthusiastic about New Zealand,” said Mr Green. The result of this interest, he said, was many daily inquiries in his office about, travel to New Zealand and Australia, both of which countries were fairly closely linked in the American mind. He thought New Zealand publicity was good, but could be increased. However, he understood that a film on New Zealand was shortly to be put in colour and televised through one of the major networks 'in the United States There was no reason, he thought, why New Zealand should not get great results from an energetic tourist drive, and get people who would have plenty of dollars to spend.
