ASSOCIATION

At t' e monthly meeting of the Otago Early Settlers’ Association yesterday the following gifts received during toe month were acknowledged:—From the estate of Mr W. Fletcher, old candle mould; from Miss P. Evans, copy of the New Zealand Banker; from Mrs J. Sprosen, pair of ladv's elastic-sided boots; from Mrs H. K. Kirk, six dinner plates, copies of early papers, three photographs of Queen’s jubilee procession. 1897, and capping ceremony programme, 1339; from the estate of Mr A. Woods, bullock yoke. The death of an early settler, Mrs I. M. Strong (nee J. M. Patch). Chili. 18GB, aged 9-1 years, was recoideJ.
