DREDGING BOARD
Reporting on the conference of South Island Harbour Boards at yesterdays meeting of the Oamaru Harbour Board, the chairman stated that the following suggestion had been made with respect to the formation of a South Island Dredging Board:— Thai, a sub-committee be set up to go into the question of a constitution, method of finance of an East Coast South Island DredPing Board with an indication of the legislation necessary to give effect thereto, such committee to report to the next meeting o’f the Dredging Committee, that the Engineers' Committee already in existence be the sub-committee, such committee to have power to co-opt such other members
