Some Scattered Light Rain The official weather forecast issued by the Government Meterologist in Wellington is:— Situation.—An intense anti-cyclone is centred east of the North Island, and a trough of low pressure is passing eastwards south of New Zealand. Forecast to 5 p.m.—Moderate winds from a westerly quarter; some scat" tered light rain at first today, but the weather gradually becoming fair to cloudy; temperatures moderate. Weather in Dunedin.—There was a south-west wind, and occasional light showers fell yesterday. Temperatures ranged from 57.Gdeg to 67.5 deg, and 3hr 36min of sunshine were recorded. The barometer fell slightly during the day, but was rising at midnight, when the reading was 30.10 in.
