RETURNED MEN
Anz&c Day Parade VISIT OF AUSTRALIANS A delegation of Australian returned servicemen will arrive in Dunedin on April 24 and will take part in the Anazc Day services on the following day. The party will then tour Otago and Southland. The itinerary of the -visitors is:— April 20.—Arrive at Oamaru by train. April 24.—Arrive at Dunedin by train; stay at Law Courts Hotel; 8 p.m., guests of Australian Imperial Forces’ Association at Savoy. April 25. —Dawn service at Cenotaph, 6.30 a.m.; parade at RSA Club, 1.40 p.m.; Town Hall commemoration service, 3 p.m. April 26.—Leave by bus at 9 a.m. for Ranfurly, via Palmerston; arrive Ranfurly 12.45 p.m.; arrive Omakau 3.30 p.m.; arrive Alexandra 5.30 p.m.; guests of Upper Clutha branch of RSA, 8 p.m., at Alexandra. April 27.—Depart Alexandra 9.15 a.m.; arrive Cromwell 10 a.m.; depart Cromwell 10.45 a.m.; arrive Queenstown 12.30 p.m.; depart Queenstown 2 p.m. for Lumsden. The party will arrive in Invercargill by way of Gore on April 29 and will leave for Dunedin by way of Owaka, Balclutha. and Milton on May 1, The Australians will arrive in Dunedin at 5.30 p.m. t and will be the guests of the Dunedin RSA at night. The party will leave Dunedin for the north at 11.35 a.m. on the following day.
