Reductions By Otago Committee The Otago Land Sales Committee, later known as the Land Valuation Committee, held its first sitting on October 18, 1943, and up till February 23 last, when all transactions relating to land other than farm land were exempt from control, it made reductions in contract prices amounting to £1,159,632. The reductions in 6997 urban properties totalled £892,037, and 754 farms were reduced by £267,595.
