HARBOUR, RATES Up to noon yesterday the outstanding harbour rates amounted to £2840 19s 7d. The last day for payment to avoid the 10 per cent, penalty is March 28. PARLIAMENTARY UNDER-SECRETARY Mr T. L. Hayman, M.P., has advised the Daily Times that Mr S. W. Smith, Parliamentary Under-secretary for Agriculture, will be in Oamaru on Wednesday, March 29, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. He will meet various authorities and interested parties on the question of town milk supplies.
