MAN CHARGED WITH FALSE PRETENCES REMAND GRANTED A rabbiter, whose name was ordered to be suppressed, appeared before Mr J. G. Warrington, S.M., in the Dunedin Police Court yesterday on a charge of obtaining 16s 6d under false pretences. On the application of Chief Detective T Y Hall, who prosecuted, the defendant was remanded until February 24. Bail was granted the accused in the sum, Ot £SO in his own recognisance and a surety of £SO. Mr Hall said other charges were P The was represented by Mr R. B. Hamel.
