FURTHER APPOINTMENTS
AUSTRALIAN PARLIAMENT NZPA—Copyright Rec. 10.10 p.m. CANBERhA, Feb. 16. The Prime Minister, Mr Menzies. announced today that Messrs . ohn Howse (New South Wales). Leonard Hamilton (West Australia), ana William Falkinder (Tasmania) had been appointed Parliamentary Undersecretaries, and Mr H. B. Guliett had been appointed Liberal Party Whip. The Under-secretaries would assist the Ministers to whom they were assigned. Specific duties had not yet been allotted. They would not receive extra salary nor would they sit in Cabinet.
