BUYERS ADVANCE OFFERS NEW BONUS PROPOSALS Buyers advanced their offers from 55s 6d the previous day to 62s 6d yesterday when ACI shares were called on the Stock Exchange and a cable read advising new issue and share bonus proposals. Colonial Sugars advanced £2 per share to £62, but sellers were not attracted, and Mount Morgans again moved higher to reach 17s 6d still " cum ” the Is dividend payable in March. Woolworths, Ltd., carried along by the upward momentum, recovered all the recent loss and notched a new gain which took buyers to 25s Id. Amongst local stocks South British Insurances lead the way with buyers offering up to 96s 6d and New Zealand Breweries rallied to 48s (buyers). In the unlisted section Mackintosh Caley Phoenix attracted more attention following an announcement of a improved annual distribution. DUNEDIN
