Rec 7 pm. CAPE TOWN, Feb. 4. The Australian wickets fell surprisingly fast against North-east Transvaal at Pretoria today. The wicket was good and the bowlers extracted some nip from it. Harvey, with a bright 41, reached 1002 runs scored in first class matches this tour. He is the first of the Australians to do so. lan Johnson, with a fine knock, was the main factor in steadying the Australian innings after the slump. , Bad light brought about an early stoppage of play after North-east Transvaal’s early collapse.
