SOCIAL LEGISLATION

Tribute To New Zealand PA AUCKLAND, Feb. 5. Sweden’s interest in New Zealand as a world leader in social reforms and legislation was stressed by Mr P. Nystrom, Under-secjretary of State of the Swedish Government, when he arrived from Sydney today. He said that whenever any social reforms were contemplated by his Government a comparison was inevitably made with New Zealand policies. Mr Nystrom left Stockholm on Sunday week by air and he will attend the meeting of social security experts at the ILO Conference in Wellington on Wednesday.
