POVERTY BAY MEETING WIN FOR VANE MASTER The Poverty Bay Turf Club’s summer meeting .at Makaraka yesterday attracted a record crowd, which was reflected by a substantial increase in the tote turnover. The doubles totalisator was a popular innovation and contributed to the big increase in the investments. The turnover was £35,027 10s, compared with £20,260 10s, an increase of £8767. The double.
