Bos Murphy Wins Bout In First Series TOURNAMENT AT BRUSSELS NZPA—Copyright LONDON, Jan. 21. Bos Murphy, of New Zealand, and former Empire middle-weight champion, outpointed Jean Wanes (France) over six rounds tonight during the first series of a middle-weight tournament at Brussels for the Marcel Cerdan memorial belt—Belgium’s tribute to the late French and former world titleholder. Thirty-two competitors have entered for the tournament, which will occupy several weeks.
