PLOT TO BLOW UP SPANISH EMBASSY IN ROME

The police in Rome today arrested an elderly man carrying a land mine and a hand grenade in a bag. He caid he planned to blow up the Spanish Embassy “to vindicate the oppressed and martyred Spanish people.” The man, aged 63, described himself as an “independent anarchist.” The police found a pistol in his pocket
