GOVERNMENT STOCK FEATURE OF BUSINESS A good line of New Zealand Government 2J per cent. October 1, 1953, Stock was the feature of business on the Stock Exchange yesterday, the parcel of £SOOO changing hands at the firm rate of £99 12s 6d, up 2s 6d on the last sale and 5s on the week. Mount Morgans had business firmer at 17s 7d, and closed in the morning at 17s 7d (buyer) and 17s 9d (seller). Following the dividend announcement (annual 71 per cent.), New Zealand Refrigerating contributing were unchanged, with sales at 20s, and closed with a buyer and seller agreed on price but not on quantity. A seller of Colonial Sugars appeared at £6O to match the buyer at 59 (591 in the morning), and Commercial Bank of Australia were offered for sale at 26s 6d, the buyer holding fractionally below the market at 25s 9d,
