BAYNE.—On December 24, 1949. at his residence, 25 Curletts road, Riccarton, David, loved husband of Elsie May Bayne, dear daddy of John and Phillip,- and eldest spn of David and Alice Bayne, 106 Queensbury street, Burwood; in his thirty-fourth year (suddenly). BEZETT.—On December 25, 19.49, at Dunedin, Gail Anne, beloved second daughter of Edward George and Ellen Georgina Bezett, 136 Main road, Green Island: aged three years. “ Safe in the arms of Jesus.” Privately interred yesterday at Green-Island.—Hope and Kinaston, funeral directors.

BROOKER.—On December 24, 1949 (suddenly), at his residence, 8 France street, North-East Valley. Malvern Slade, dearly beloved husband of Mabel Amy Brooker, and loved father of Valerie (Mrs J. McBRYDE.—On December 24, 1949, at Christchurch, John Mcßryde. beloved brother of Henry and James Mcßryde, Mrs J. H. Bathgate, Owen and Lloyd Hughes.

MCDONALD.—On December 24, 1949 (suddenly), at her residence, 95 Russell street, Elizabeth, wife of the late George McDonald and beloved mother of Alice (Mrs Miller), Lewis. Victor, Albert, Rosetta, and grandmother of Daphne Miller and Val McDonald, and aunt of Mrs Ivy and Jim Wallace.
