VOLUNTARY MOBILISATION IN MALAYA FIGHT AGAINST TERRORISM NZPA—Copyright SINGAPORE, Dec. 22. All civilian resources in Malaya are to be voluntarily mobilised early in the New Year to join with the security forces in an attempted knock-out blow to the country’s Communist terrorists. Announcing the scheme, the High Commissioner. Sir Henry Gurney, said that certain non-essential Government departments would be closed down to provide extra men for the battle. He added that the all-out drive against the guerrillas would last for a month.
